US Title Series Points Champions Crowned in Oklahoma

Two weeks from today, we will be in Pryor, OK for the USTS finale. Most of the US Title Series point titles are still up for grabs which should make for another exciting program. The PRO commission has approved the migration of the Eastern Divisionals for the 700 Hydro class from the cancelled Hartford event to the Oklahoma event, therefore we will be running the “Hartford” schedule of 700 Hydro instead of Top Hydro (1100H). I expect this site to be a really great event rather than just another race site, as there will be food vendors, beverage vendors, carnival vendors, music, fireworks and all that goes with it. The Northeast Oklahoma Outboard Racing Assoc has spent a great deal of effort to be sure USTS has another great event. Let’s support their efforts and collect $10,000 tow money at the same time.

The sponsor has asked for and we are accommodating a slight schedule change for our Saturday program. We will swap the positions of our 500R class and our 500H classes. We will start our Saturday program with 500H and end with 500R. Our Sunday schedule will finish with capsules as we always do. This will display our premium classes at the start and end of our program.

Plan for a “meet & greet” on Friday after testing. We are scheduled to bring our spectators into the pits between 6PM and 8PM for discussions, photo options, autographs, and general arm chair racing. This should be fun for all of us.

After the heartbreak of Hartford, I am very anxious to see my USTS family in Pryor. See ya in the first turn, PeteG
